Li-ion battery reuse — Grenoble

A battery dying on your scooter still has 70% left to give.

cirBATT collects end-of-life lithium batteries from small e-mobility and electric vehicles, requalifies each cell, and assembles second-life packs for stationary storage (residential solar, industrial solar, microgrids, data center UPS etc...). Each battery is tested to meet EN IEC 62619:2022, CE marking, Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, and UN 38.3.

SOH — State of Health
100 % → 65 %
Remaining capacity
65 % utilisable
Mobility threshold — 70% SOH Mobility zone Stationary storage zone 70% SOH 0 cycles + cycles
↔ Drag the point to explore the degradation curve
Reusable, not disposable. A cell below the mobility threshold stays reliable for stationary uses where power and weight matter less than cost.
From mobility to storage

From an e-scooter to a solar-powered home

An e-scooter battery at 80% SOH is no longer powerful enough for the road — but it can store the energy produced by solar panels for years.

How it works

From unusable battery to operational pack

Three steps: drop-off, requalification in the workshop, second life in storage. Every cell is tested before being reassembled — nothing is resold without inspection.

01 — Drop-off

You drop off your battery

Online request, local drop-off point, or organized collection. The battery is logged with its origin and apparent condition.

02 — Workshop

Sorting, testing and reassembly

Each cell is characterized (SOH, resistance, safety), sorted by performance, then reassembled with our BMS into a second-life pack.

03 — Second life

Stationary storage

The pack is sold for stationary uses: self-consumption, peak shaving, microgrids, backup power.

Drop off an end-of-life battery

E-scooter, e-bike, moped, electric car — your battery no longer has enough power for mobility, but it still has value. Drop it off, we take care of the rest.

Our requalification criteria

We only reassemble what we have measured

Every cell goes through the same checks before entering a second-life pack.

SOH State of health measured in actual capacity (Ah/kg), not estimated.
Rs Series resistance tested to anticipate load performance.
BMS Proprietary management system, designed for reused cells.
Safety Thermal and electrical checks before any assembly.
Standards Each battery is tested to meet EN IEC 62619:2022, CE marking, Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, and UN 38.3.
